Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PY10305)

Certified Telemental Health Provider

Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology

Emily Georgia Salivar, PhD

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida certified in Telehealth. I specialize in romantic relationships, couple/marital therapy, and flexible interventions to meet the needs of my clients.

I also focus on those struggling to manage stress, anxiety, adjustment, and trauma. I am trained in evidenced-based approaches, including acceptance and behavioral interventions.

I have been fortunate to be mentored, trained, and supervised by leading scholars in relationship science. I continue to collaborate with many, developing, testing, and disseminating leading edge relationship interventions.

I am also a clinical psychology researcher. I focus on understanding romantic relationships, how traumatic experiences influence them, and how best to improve relationship quality. I am especially interested in testing flexible, non-traditional ways to reach couples effectively. Click here for a list of my publications.
